Great deer! My parent's house backs up to town forest in a Boston suburb. When I visit, I see deer almost daily in their yard. No hunting though. Although, a neighboring town, Dover MA, had it's first bow hunt this year in their town forest. I hope it was successful/beneficial and they open the forest backing up to my parents house next year. It's loaded with deer. I might have to visit in the fall.
I know exactly where Dover is- and the forest you mean! It is NICE property! It's really too bad the libs control so much up there!
@horsefly: No, this was the N. Andover Town Forest, right near the big apple orchard (magic words, right?) behind the $$$$ private scholl and near Georgetown!
you want me to give you another few places to go? i know of another guy that used to hunt the orchards off of i think it was called ipswitch rd in n. andover the one thats on both sides of the road with the farm house way down in the bottom. let me know i'll give ya some info.
