i would buy my relatives farms in indiana. and keep a place down here with canal or bayou access.
it wouldnt matter,,, the next time anybody would see me it would be on the back of a milk carton----has anybody seen this person π
mountains- east or west is a hard decison. Havent been out west yet, I do like Tennesee and NC. Or since im not married or no kids could buy a camper and travel and hunt.
I would buy as much land as I could in Florida(goal would be 1000 acres). After that I would keep a few million for me and the rest would be used to buy rehab homes hire ppl to redo and rent them or sell them cheap.I would only like a small return as long the gov stayed outa my business!
I have actually thought of this and looked around before.
I would first get some land here in Florida, maybe 1000 acres or so, not sure of the area, probably Kissimmee River basin area.
But i would definitly get a few thousand if not more acres up in Montana. Depending all on "HOW MUCH I WIN' I have seen a 6800 acre "hunting reserve", with 3 large houses, around 3 to 4 thousand square feet each on about a 100 acre section of the land, and a "hunting lodge" on property, with also lease rights to about another 4000 acres abutting the land. all that was priced around 8 million or so if I remember corectly. And a friend of mine showed me online a 23,000 acre working cattle ranch in southwest Montana for sale for 19 million.
