Q. If you hit the Lottery what state would you buy hunting land in and how much land would you want to buy ? Q. Would you move from your home state and build to live on or just go there to hunt if you bought out of state ? I have thought about this for sometime do to wanting to win the lottery and how I would spend some of the money on hunting land and where I would want to hunt {states that is} what would you do ???? After taking care of your loved ones of course.....

If I won the Powerball after 20 weeks of rollovers, I might catch up on my bills!
But if I had enough left over, I'd buy a place in northern New Mexico, right up close to Colorado, where they filmed "Grizzly Adams" and Clint Eastwoods movie "Pale Rider". I'd like about 2000 acres out there.
I'd also look for a place in GA, AL or the Carolinas. About 500-1000 acres, with a good size lake.
On each ranch I'd build nice log homes and include a "bunkhouse" for guests. I'd put in a landing strip at all of them and get my pilot's license and about an 8 passenger twin-turbo to fly in and out. Maybe a helicopter as well.
Those would be my hunting and 4-wheeling get-aways. I'd still live here in Florida, maybe find a nice waterfront home with Gulf access and deep dock to hold my 50' Cabo. House doesn't need to be huge or fancy, just comfortable with room for a few guests now and then.
