Primos sivler sent eleminator earth blend, but be prepaired to smell like a compost pile. I use the earth blend because every where has dirt. It also kills bacteria for those with OCD 😆
I wash all my clothes in baking powder, then put them in bags. When it's time to hunt I put them on and spray myself with Scent-A-way head to toe. Focusing on areas that sweet allot (Hat,armpits. exct). Then I put on natural pine scent wafers (when hunting in the pines) They work great. After hunting take clothes off and I don't reuse them till I'm out of fresh camo's .
And I forgot I also use scent free deodorant made by scent-A-way
I don't waste the $$ on the rest of the junk like the soap,shampoo,clothes detergent, toothpaste, baby powder. Exct. 😆

There are a lots of products that are excellent scent control products but lots of them are over priced, in my opinion.. Over the years I have learned to cut corners (and cost$$) and make my own or use other products that work just as well
Clothes:
Hunter's laundry soap is about $7-$15 per bottle.Wash a load of clothes in baking soda(about a half a box) per load. Wash in cold water and turn clothes inside out.
You can get the hunters dryer sheets but they are like $5 for a 10 pack. I usually get a pack in case I need to wash clothes if I am in a hurry or traveling. Turning them inside out will keep them from fading.
Otherwise I hang dry my clothes outside
I get the huge jumbo XXXL ziploc bags at Publix. It is about $5 for the pack and a three pack will last me all hunting season. I pack all my clothes in there for the trips. You can be creative and put in a piece of pine branch, pinecone, leaves, or lighter wood to give some natural smell. I am not a fan of scent wafers because they are synthetic (However I do hang one in my truck during hunting season) You can pick up smells from your truck on your clothes
Shower:
I buy and use the hunters shampoo and body wash. I believe in this product. Also the deodorant is good but pricey. I use SURE scent free stick deodorant. It is about 1/4 the price(once again you are paying for name)
Scent killer sprays:
I believe in these too. I keep a bottle in my back pack and use it. I keep a big bottle in my truck and camper and spray down religiously before I walk in the woods. Here is a recipe to make your own. I make a big homemade batch right before hunting season. I put it in a spray bottle and use it for spraying bigger stuff (tree stand, backpack, etc)Be sure to spray your hat!!!
Ingredients for Scent Killer:
16 oz. (2 cups) Peroxide
16 oz. (2 cups) Distilled Water
¼ cup baking soda
1 oz. On non-scented shampoo
Let sit for several days (milk jug works good with lid loose) This recipe is also good for removing blood from your hands in the field after dressing your critter! No dried blood, presents a better image!
Here an idea for some scent free 'baby wipes'...
mix up a batch of scent killer as per instructions above...
take a roll of heavy duty paper towels (Bounty, Scott, etc..not the 49 cent cheapies)
cut the roll in half with an electric knife so you have 2 short rolls of paper towels(don't try a regular knife... it doesn't work). Pull the cardboard tube from the middle of the half roll
Find a rubbermaid or tupperware container big enough to hold the 1/2 roll of paper towels (and with a good sealed lid).
Put one of the 1/2 rolls of paper in the container, pour in the scent killer, let the wipes soak up the scent killer, keep covered tigtht so they don't dry out. Because the inner cardboard tube is out, pull the paper towels out the from the middle like a kleenex!
Another trick:
Take a clean scent free wash cloth, put in a ziploc and soak it in your scent free mixture, then throw it in the freezer. Put frozen cloth in your back pack. Early season when it is hot as hell, this makes a cold scent killing wipe. I usually will get settled in my climber, them wipe down with it. Really helps you cool down
One other trick is this: grab a small pine limb, or any natural vegetation and break it up a bit in your hands. Rub it all over yourself real quick. Gun strap is a spot that is overlooked and it soaks up sweat.
Folks we all hunt in Florida and it is hot. You are going to sweat. All of the tips I posted are helpful, but you have to hunt the wind, period. I hunt between 20-40' high but sometimes it is not enough. Play the wind!!!
