well richlom is like this.. if you shoot a deer and a guy with a dog comes up they will either want a piece of the meat or tell you that its theirs. thats how they work over there.. they will say "my dog pushed it to you" heard many of horror stories about richlom.

It has always been a gentlemans tradition in Fl that if somebody shoots a deer being run by dogs, the dog hunter gets half of the deer and the shooter gets the other half and the head. Not a law, just a courtesy. I loaded my box up tonight and put all new batteries in my collars and am gonna hunt Richloam tommorow with some frends. Best thing to do if you shoot somebodys deer is help them catch up there dogs and offer them half. Saves a lot of problems, also don't ever pick up a mans dog and drive off with it.

I like that deal. sounds good to me. If I shoot a 10 pointer being run by dogs, I have no problem at all sharing half the meat. As long as I have the chance to mount a head. I've been still hunting Richloam for years and am well aware that dogs are being run. Last year I saw deer come trotting by and 3-5 min. later I hear bells. here come the dogs. I dont mind. Thats one of the reasons I hunt Richloam is cause I know for a fact Im gonna see and maybe get an oppotunity to pop one. There is no day that I have not seen deer.
Skunk ape if you see me out there I drive a 86 toyo 4x4 on 37"boggers. say hi.

I don't usually hunt there much but I hit it a few weekends a year and during the week when I'm not working.I'm about 10 minutes fom there. I drive a 99 silverado 4x4 with a double decker diamond plate dog box. There are always a few butt holes anywhere you hunt, but most are good. I've never cared if anyone kills game I'm running, just don't drive off with my dogs.I coach a lot of the kids whose parents hunt in there, some are like 5th generation Crackers raised out there. Some of he finest folks I know.
