Check it out at FWC website under "prohibited methods of taking game" Also I have a yesterday email from them, stating lasers cannot be used on bows only in archery season, but can be used on any weapon during other seasons. I will have a copy of that email with me when I hunt, you betcha!
So post the email, I need a copy
I've been thinking of possibly using one or a red dot or eotech instead of open rifle style sights since the vision has gotten worse also. regs didn't mention anything about putting a laser on a lever or shotgun. don't feel a 1" dot should be considered "ilumination" but would have to agree to make sure before doing it.
Red dot has always been legal but I want the laser for slugs on my Benelli 12 ga.

Laser sites are only prohibited on bows used during the archery season. Any hunter may use laser sites on any type of firearm, including bows, during all seasons except archery season.

Hi, may a disabled person legally hunt with a rifle with a laser site, in other words, a laser beam device? I did not see any prohibitions of it in prohibited methods of taking game. Please let me know.
