my son is 12 been hunting with me since he was about 5. started carrying a gun with him about 3 years ago. Finally got him to legal draw weight on his bow for last season . went bow hunting with me. In georgia. Made him pass up a nice little forked horn. he was mad but it wasn't a legal buck in our county.(Randolph)
My girls 11 now but has gone huntig with me for the last 3 years. She got a nice gobbler 2 years age(i shot none that year)
i just got her first rifle besides her 10/22. a nice remington in .243. shes itching to go kill a hog. DADDIES LITTLE GIRL!!!!
Oh and shes a heck of a shot with my 9mm.
I've got some cool pics of my kids hunting. If I ever figure out how to post them I will. Got them on photo bucket so far and now I'm stuck.
that is awesome, i cant wait til my kids are old enough to shoot with me. i just bought my son his first bow, he shoots darts all over the house and when i shoot in the back so does he. still to young for firearms, will be getting his lifetime hunting and fishing license for christmas, its 400 bucks for 4 yrs and under, so thats a good deal, if he enjoys it, which im sure he will. i think my little girl will be hangin with dad alot too. she is wild. if i can get the wife and kids to go north this year, my son will sit in the stand with me, that will be a blast.
