Anyone got any kids that hunt with them? I have a 14 year old and two 6 year old twins, all boys. They all love to hunt and fish.They are a great help to me ,Sat they helped me set up feeders and saved me hours of time. The twins ride on the dog box from day light to dark and are shooting targets with their bow and arrows.
My boy is 5. Been taking him to my lease since he was walking andd in diapers. One of my best memories is he was riding the 4 wheeler with me and he crapped his diaper all the way across the property from our camp and I didnt have a spare with me. It was a total disaster by the time I got him back to camp.
Wouldnt trade it for the world. He goes every time I go to the woods in the off season. Been slowly introducing him to sitting in the stands. He is a little hyper so he cant really sit still.
I had him in a box stand with me last year when I shot a deer. He missed the whole thing cause he was asleep on the floor
I can relate to the diaper story. I was with my older boy whan he was 10 when he shot his first spike out of one of those buddy stands,he was with me when I killed my monster in Ga. I brought him to Andrews once and had to wake him up in the ground blind when we were over run by about 50 hogs.By the time he got his bearings,he couldn't settle on a hog and never got a shot off. Theyve all been going with me since they were two.I start them off dog hunting,they don't get so bored and there can be action almost anytime.
