Good deal! Love to here dads taking there kids hunting. :thumbs up:
My son never liked hunting, just wasn't his thing. I may still get him on a hog hunt. But my daughter is more likely to get into hunting. I took her turkey hunting a couple times. Didn't get any chances at birds so I'm looking forward to next season. "tup"
Took my stepson 2 years ago and it wasn't his thing. My stepdaughter is off at school at FSU and asked to come to the lease this year so I'm stoked. She's about an hour away from camp so I'll get to see her a bit this year. I'll be surprised if she really likes it cause she's a little prissy but you never know. Somehow I think she's gonna have a hard time getting up that early to go sit in a tree.
My son is 20, and he's been hunting with me a few times since he was about 8. Last couple of years he's gone up to the GA lease with my dad to help him set feeders, plant food plots, move stands, etc. He enjoys riding the 4 wheelers, and has helped skin and clean several deer. He still hasn't had a shot at anything. Neither of us have been hunting the last two seasons, due to work and school, and now he'll be going into the Air Force some time soon, just waiting for the job he wants to come open. He may not go until after hunting season starts, so I'll try to get him up to Georgia for black powder.
I have a 15yr old that has been hunting with me since he was about 6. He lives for it. On hunt days he is up before me. He is a great hunter as well. I think my 3yr old will take over for him as he will be moving on in the next couple of years.
I've got some cool pics of my kids hunting. If I ever figure out how to post them I will. Got them on photo bucket so far and now I'm stuck.
If you have them on photo bucket just copy the IMG code (Last one) and paste it in your post .
