That cypress will do that. I still manage to get turned around hunting the cypress in the Glades every year. After 4 years of hunting the same area! Now I just leave my stand a little early so I have some light to find my way out. When those trees are just far enough apart to walk threw them it's not hard to lose your sence of direction. Compass is the only way to go, thats what saved my azz a few times down there. Know what roads run what way (N,S,E,W) in the area your hunting. A gps won't work in most of those areas, or wont be very accurate if it does.

thats why crock carries all those electronics, a Cristopher Columbus he aint. hell it happens to everyone sooner or later. every time I go to a new area I figure theres a good possibility I may be spending the night.
