How is the acorn crop this year in your area?
Most trees I see have very few if any and they are all very small (immature).
I assume this could work towards hunter's advantage?
From what I am seeing and reading from others, this will be year #3 in a row of a massive crop. 3 weeks ago the water oaks were already dropping in the woods. I haven't been back since, but my water oaks here at home are dropping and one early bird live oak is dropping. All the trees around here are LOADED.
Also saw hickory nuts already on the ground last trip up. I fear persimmons are already dropped off
They are dropping in front of my house already, not sure if its from the storm/wind but the last 2 years they started early like this.
Underwater is how I hope the crop is... lol
I'm sick of having to compete with them
I have several trees raining them.
