I'm relocating to the melbourne area to be closer to family. I've never hunter in floridas warm hunting conditions. What special care do you take after you've found your animal? coolers?ice in body cavity?
Is there anyone in the melbourne/palm bay area that processes your game? phone number?
Thanks for any help

floridas hott.. you got about 3 hours to get it gutted and iced. if its cold weather you might be able to get away with finding it the next day but i wouldn't recommend that.. find it asap and get the guts out right there if its over an 2 hours before you find it.. i use a portable skinner for my truck so i can skin it right there and throw the quarters in the cooler then run to the nearest gas station and buy ice.
