ive been told that during a full moon the deer feed at night.. but to be honest deer come out when they want. i just Hunt. Unless you pattern certain deer in a certain area its really hard to tell. Ive noticed that different deer in different areas do different things at different times.
Ill tell you one thing for sure.. The only time you can guarantee to see something is: That one moment when the wind dies down, its dead silent, and you see squirrels, maybe hear an owl. Thats all ways game on time! You all know what im talking about.. Not just quiet. ITs that CERTAIN quiet that happens.. Its just a feeling that you get and the animal steps out.
seen 4 does feeding today at 1:20pm and major feed times were 12:45-2:45pm in my neck of the woods in GA.didn't get back into the stand until 5pm and saw 11 deer from 5:20 till dark also heard some hogs but never saw them.
Heard that on a full moon and or new Moon that Deer feed all night and dont move during the day. Is this true ? according to the Moon and the weather, how much moving around during the day should I expect if at all. Dont know if it was a new or full moon on Wednesday night but heard the deer were not moving on Thursday.
When it comes to salt water fishing, I'm pretty good when it comes to the tides and when to fish but I'm still learning the Deer thing. HAPPY NEW YEAR to all !
