I don't know but this year i seen way less deer hunters (except duck hunters tones yesterday for opener) All three area i been to there been hardly anyone.

I think if i had multi millions it would take the rewards i get out of hunting if i did the flip flop thing.
With premium land with massive deer herds- wait i load it up with hogs to make it better.

Part of hunting is the challenge the physical and mental aspect of it. I can say i am getting old and feeling the physical part. Don't take the wrong way on the feeder thing i don't dislike any hunting any way or any forum.

It can even happen on the places where you think it wouldn't. I was on a spec opp hunt this past weekend and a guy came in to the check station (while I was cleaning a pig, ha ha) and said he got way off the road, sat in his stand all day long and just about the peak time of the p.m. hunt some guy comes tromping up through the woods behind him. Mind you, this was a hunt with 20 hunters on 8700 acres......

Yep people forget its public. It happens even on certain private lands though. Deal with it or fork out the $ to hunt elsewhere. Killing deer on public land consistently in florida is proof of a good hunter though. It also makes you appreciate a lease later on better.

I really didn't like the lease. Every one was so worried about there little section to me it was to uptight. i also dont really like feeders ether.

Man today i hiked 3 miles with my stand on my back . Some times i like to to just walk. I taken quite a few deer over the years that way.

Yes I agree most of the tiny still hunting leases with their 'private' spots are WAY too uptight for me also. My lease is more like a fee-based WMA than those type of leases.
