My buddy got hit by 3-4 of them when we were putting out cameras several weeks ago. He didn't see them until it was too late.

Those things worry me more than anything in the woods. Imagine stumbling over one in the dark. Getting up thinking you are a bozo for tripping. Little do you know that is the least of your worries when 100 yellow jackets start chasing you all over the woods.
All I know is I have some severe allergies to stinging, and biting bugs. A couple of bites from those, and I would look like a china man for days.

I need to treat them...but don't want the smell of pesticide in there by my stand. Gonna have to do some thinking on this one. I literally HAVE to walk right by it to get in to my spot.

I remember last year several of us were on a hog hunt. There was a YJ nest close by. We could hear them buzzing and actually could feel a vibration, but we were all too chikkin shizz to really investigate it

Nothing like a flesh eating bee on steroids to have to contend with, and make a bunch of pusses out of grown men. Glad I am not the only 1. I have a honey bee hive right now in my FIL exterior wall. They are entering under a window sill you can see comb, and honey on the out side. I am real allergic to those things. I had a can of wasp spray, and a can ant spray sitting out side to use on each. The last time I went to spray the bees I accidently sprayed them with the ant spray. They really got ticked off, and had me running for my life. What a calmity! I really did not want to kill them, but didn't want to spend a bunch of money on it. Now my wifes sister found out, and hired some " Bee Whisper" dude to come out. He is supposed to set up a hive, and some how coax them into it. He said it could take a month. Mean while I still have to cut his grass every week, and risk my own butt for a bunch of bees. I hope it works he is charging a $150.00 to do it.
