Hunting sheep like that is AWESOME. Thats some serious target shooting. Thanks for sharing the report.
Good report and nice job on the sheep. I'm in Mt. Zion park in Utah right now and it looks like your pics all around me. Definitely not flat like Florida. I didn't realize there was anything here but snakes and scorpions. Should have brought my guns.
WOW, great story, pics, scenery, arsenal. for all it's liberal anti gun tree hugging ways there sure is some good hunting out there. you sure make that rifle look small. hauling a bow, 2 gal of water, pistol and rifle up and down those hills must be brutal. what was the temp? my old hunting bud was out there in the desert South of LA buying/training a couple of poodle pointers from a breeder and NAVDA (north American versatile hunting dog assoc) founder Botto Winterholt, hope he is still alive and well. great bird dogs and good chukkar hunting out there. you plan on playing ball here in Fla?
Nacho it was about 98-101 degrees on the hill. The hunt was really tough, it surely was not flat. I honestly hate stand hunting, I like stalking and glassing so western style hunting really appeals to me. I learned 3 things 1. every plant has stickers, thorns, burrs, or nettles. 2.There are snakes everywhere, watch where you walk because unlike FL and GA these are exactly the same color as the bush. 3. GOOD OPTICS ARE CRUCIAL YOU WILL GLASS FOR HOURS.
U WILL
:toast looked like a good hunting trip congrats
