Are these decent cameras? Seems like a good price.

I have 2 of them that have been going strong for years now. Also had a third that was stolen. Its a little older model now, was really popular 3-4 years ago. Only downfalls: slower trigger speed, which sucks if you are setting it on a game trail. And a white flash (I am in love with IR cams now)
For the price, and (assuming you are using it on public land), you can't really beat it. If it gets stolen, you are out $50 instead of $100. A python cable and padlock will prevent an honest thief from taking it
ive used them.. never had a problem.. sold it and from what i know it still works.
Cool. Thx guys. Whats the real benefit of doing the IR ones?
Invisible flash. Its just a very faint, dim red glow instead of a burst of white light. Can't say it spooks game any more or less, I just prefer it
If you really want a good one, get the D-55IR, and go to camlockbox.com and get a locking box for it. Best camera on the market in its price range, in my opinion. Wal mart mas it for $117. Batteries last me about 8 months.
The D-50 will last maybe a couple months
