Those old humpback auto 5's would sling some buckshot. My grandpa has one that would.

last time i used a turkey choke for hogs, It was not good.. Ask Johnl. A turkey choke is too restricted and make the pellets bounce against each other before they come out, Then they are not round they are all jacked up and come out of the end of the shotgun with no remorse for shooting straight.. Trust me.

I use 00 and modified to kill hogs.. Shoot them right in the face and never lost one to this day doing this.. #1 is better but hard to find.

3" vs 3 1/2"

Actually if you go check ballistics on most common off the shelf buckshot, 3" has more speed to it than 3 1/2" . You have more pellets with the 3 1/2 but not much more powder than a 3" . I would stay with the 3" , if you are looking to shoot farther out. IMO .

Yep. Only 3.5's I shoot are turkey loads
