Okay I've seen this one rub in september it was a tiny rub now its a massive rub as expected. There's a scrape about 20yds from it but there's just this one rub and you can tell the rub and scrape are fresh then there's another scrape 30yds from that. How come this buck dosent have a line if rubs just one then a trail that I have seen a 100lbs+ doe come out of. But I thought there should be a big line not just one massive rub and a couple branches broken in this big hole in the Bush 5yds from the rub its clearly done by a buck cause there demolished. I can't smell a musky buck odor from the scrapes but you can tell there fresh there's not a leave in them. What should I do hunt this hard or no. Both scrapes and the rub lead to a trail into thick palmettos should I hunt the edge theres. Also oaks behind the rub its like he's facing the palmettos and the trees not shredded all the way just alot of bark gone and you can see where the tips of his points are dug in the tree. If.I get the right wind ill hunt it but if I don't have the right wind can I blind hunt it.

Remember bucks visit those sites at night. Use this as a clue to find an area. Now you need to find the thickest nastiest area close by and see if that is at one end if that trail. 95% of the time you are wasting time setting up on a rub or scrape. Find dome thick stuff close by and look for deer poo. That will tell you exactly where to sit

Okay so your saying walk these thick deer trails and yeah there's some nasty thick stuff nearby theres a lot of baby oaks in the middle behind the scrape and there's oak pockets in the palmettos which are thick

I am saying do some google scouting and figure out where he lives. he will be bedding in a place that makes him feel safe (if you find lot of deep poo you are there). Once you figure out where he lives setup close and down wind.
