not taking any shots about your wt or anything, but I find the single person mdl's small and cramped with no room to put anything on bench next to you. for a few xtra bucks the 2-man is just right for 1 man and maybe a small child, or gear /pack /thermos whatever, alot more comfy and able to stay there longer without fidgetting.

I went and looked at it. It had belonged to the guy's dad who had died recently. It's a 2003 model, seems sturdy enough and he dropped the price considerably. Has a nice cushioned seat, platform to stand on and shooting rail that comes off for archery. I'll find me a spot and set it up on that lease in Mayo next weekend (I hope). Tomorrow I'll try setting it up on the big pine out back, maybe get up in it and shoot a few arrows. That'll let me know if I need to do any further engineering to make sure it handles my "big and tall" condition.

SA< I haven't been back up since my trip last weekend, and haven't talked to Carlos. Like I said, I plan to do some killing next weekend! Maybe it'll be dried out up there some.
