You still need a quota permit for a lot of the WMA special opportunity hunts, but there are several that allow exempt hunters. The list of WMAs that allow hunting for exempt hunters during quota periods is on the FWC site.

I wish I had 45 more years. I'm inside the 25 years to go mark, but not far enough out for it to be worthwhile to get the lifetime license.
No kiddin there. I'm hopin they invent a quiet hovercraft-like motorized chair so I can still hunt when I get that age. Of course, I'll prolly have to ride the short bus to my property in PA to be able to hunt, since it's prolly gonna be the only acreage left for me to hunt, considering how fast land is disappearing now.
