Looking at the Archery Season requirements for Osceola WMA I noticed they have bolded the "Deer Permit" requirement, see below. My hunting licenses states; Resident Hunting, Migratory bird permit, Waterfowl permit, resident archery permit, muzzle loading permit, and resident turkey permit. My license does not have "Deer Permit" listed on it. At the time I got my license, nobody mentioned anything about a "Deer Permit". Am I able to hunt or do I need to go back to the Tax Collectors office and get "Deer Permit" on my license?

yea you should be able to go back and get it added. you can do it all walmart too if you dont want to sit around and wait and the tax collectors office. this rule is for the entire state too, not just WMAs. I get the Gold Sportsmans license and it covers everything single thing in FL (salt water license, freshwater license and everything needed to hunt state land every season)

Ya, I just did some research on MYFWC Here is a link to the new requirement. I got my license May 5th and this new requirement went into effect July 16th. Glad I caught this now and not at the skinning rack....
