Anyone else grow veggies in containers? This is something I do every year as a little hobby. I mainly do hot peppers, different varieties. This year I am doing Habanero, white habanero, jalapeño, black jalapeño, Tabasco, Thai sun, peter peppers, Bhut Jolokia, Kung pao, cayenne, St Augustine Datil, Anaheim, long red, Hungarian wax,hot banana, probably a few more I am missing. I am also going to do a bunch of veggies too. Cucumbers, onions(will get planted down a fence line), pole beans, okra, zucchini, and squash. Plus a bunch of herbs

Reason I grow in containers
I don't have a spot of the yard I want to tear up, or a tiller to do it
The soil in my yard is horrible
I can move them around to get the proper amount of sun.

A few pepper plants that made it thru the winter

We have done a germination box and then transfer germinated seeds to starter pot then after they take hold transfer to planter. That are what my plans are for my food plot this year if I can get it.

I'm gonna put out a couple of "earth box" type gardens when I get moved into my new place at the end of the month. It's a condo, so I won't be able to till up the back yard or put in a "square foot" type garden. My dad has a couple of the "earth box" type things going and grows peppers, tomatoes, okra, and a couple of other things, and they produce just about all he could want.
