I am not an expert by any means, and am not trying to tell you what to do...

But when you go to plant, you are gonna need to disc it in again. I would suggest putting some concrete blocks on the disc to weigh it down, so it will cut in more. It is a pain in the arse to cut in a food plot with a 4 wheeler disc that has grass and stuff in it. Trust me, I've been there. Sometimes it takes a couple times or more to get the dirt to turn over

Agree....needs to be cut a lot more....that grass in there will be right back after the first rain. Hard to do with a light disc....good start though,,,,you'll get it.

I found it cuts better with more weight. What works best for me is to put the hammer down and swerve back and forth while your getting it. It will wear you out but the discs dig in then. You'd be surprised how good those discs will dig in when your haulin azz and swerving.

Dumb question..

That trail looks dry and sturdy..can you get your truck back to that field? If so, hook the disc to your truck, weigh the sucker down as much as you possibly can and pull it with that.

We did that at my old lease at the playhouse stand. That cul de sac was grown up in Johnson grass. Hooked it to the truck, sat in the truck in A/C, drank beer and drove in circles...worked great

Just an idea
