you have to mark your spots on my lease.. noone can hunt within 200 hards in both directions from it. thats how most leases do it these days.

So you pay that much money to be on a lease, and you can only hunt in desinated locations? Or is that just for your plots?

that is just where we have stands and feeders. we can still hunt any part of the lease or hang climbers anywhere.. out of range of other peoples hunting areas.. This is how all leases are.

This stops people form walking up on you while you are hunting, or setting up too close to you.

OK I see,as long as you can hunt anywere you want also. Not just limited to a few spots only

right.. you mark your feeder and spots you set up. Its your spot and noone can hunt there.. everywhere else is open to hunt. My last lease was a free for all. No markers.. People would hunt your stands, walk up on you while you were hunting, Ride an atv past your stand with people on the back.. A simple "marker system" stops all of this. If people still disobey the markers they are removed form the lease with no refund.

I would plant just the field. You don't want to have to walk thru a planted trail to get to your stand

I am not an expert by any means, and am not trying to tell you what to do...

But when you go to plant, you are gonna need to disc it in again. I would suggest putting some concrete blocks on the disc to weigh it down, so it will cut in more. It is a pain in the arse to cut in a food plot with a 4 wheeler disc that has grass and stuff in it. Trust me, I've been there. Sometimes it takes a couple times or more to get the dirt to turn over
