I have been a fisherman and a boat owner practically my whole life. I have always been told by many different folks to only run your motor on rabbit ears hooked to a water hose just long enough to flush your motor or long enough to check whatever you need to check.
The guy behind me has let his motor run for over 4 hours last Sunday and it has been idling today since I got home at 2:00
Poor dude is gonna have a carbon build up so bad he wont be able to get out of his own way when he tries to get on the throttle
