Finally secured my new boat and have had it out for a maiden trip already. This is the 1st boat I have owned that has dual batteries for the outboard with a selector switch. My question is.... the switch allows you to run on battery 1 or 2 or both. Is the alternator in the outboard strong enough to charge both batteries running in dual mode, do you take turns running each battery so they stay charged when not in use?
