If you want to come back up to Illinois and shoot some honkers I hunt every day and we have been dropping a few so to speak. Canada Geese are moving into Southern Illinois right now and we have begun really putting them on the water along with ducks. I have been hunting in standing corn that was flooded as well as flooded milo fields, geese and mallards love them. We shot 17 geese last week and one was banded, ducks are a dime a dozen most days that stay cold, not so hot when it warms up.
We are on the geese and you are more than welcome to come up and smack em', I promise to do my best to put them down low. Going to be in Texas a few days after Christmas hunting but back up here till the 12th of January then heading to Arkansas till the 31st for some duck hunting. Then hoping to be in St. Petersburg for good after that, provided I find a new company to work for down there.
