well any of you guys who enjoy hunting hogs with dogs ever wanna tag along let me know i am always trying to find people to go to help with the ever rising cost of desiel fuel, god bless this country fuel is going to cost more than the average guy makes in a week

That is the #1 reason my entire crew is dropping out of the club and possibly myself.I talked to some guys in the club and I think we're down alsmot 80 members right now,not good. Also heard they caught a deer poacher in there as well.

Hunt those hogs hard and keep up the good work! FYI- If that's a Foley club I wouldn't be advertising that you released it either. They tend to frown on that because they cause so much damage to their trees.

If gas would come down to normal prices I would definitely be inclined to get some hog dogs and keep my deer dogs too. I plan to go hunting soon with a friend of mine who runs hound crosses and we shoot them like deer because they tend to not bay up as often and will run. That's fun as running a big buck to me and the best part is you don't have to look for antlers lol!

That's all I have are hounds, mainly plotts. A lot of fun running them, but they bay up a lot in some bad woods.Your lucky if you can get them in a road. Our club is divided right now because there are so many hog dog hunters in there. They started year round hunting them day and night and it pissed a lot of guys off. We use to have limited hunts in the off season which I think is better. All I know is last year there were way less hogs and deer than I ever noticed.

I don't think I heard the first positive remark from any hunter in the area last year about seeing more of any critters. Hopefully this next year will be better. I started off seeing a decent amount of deer but only out of 1 stand. It completely sucked the remaining of the year after archery though. We have thinned out so many does while still hammering the small bucks that the days of high deer populations I'm scared are behind us. The hogs in our club are as nocturnal as the big bucks also so they might be there but you never see them unless it's with a dog on it's butt or a game cam pic.

ya i been up at the club this past weekend, i had 2 feeders i set up 2 weeks prior and tossed out 100lbs or corn at each, all i have pics of are a few doe and turkeys, but got a great corn patch growin at each location, pretty disappointed so far with the hog population, only been able to catch 2 in my 4 trips up there, any idea if you can get a refund before the season starts? i hate whining but its to expensive these days to not be able to harvest the animals your lookin for
