I have been looking at the Garmin Astro 220 Combo with DC 30. I was wondering if you guys have had any luck with these units. I have found them at http://www.conkeysoutdoors.com for $549.00 & free shipping. Seems like a good price but I was wondering what kind of range are you guys getting out of the G A 220?
Those units are pretty cool,I would say they are good but they are still new and I am waiting to see all the bugs worked out of them. Some of the guys I hunt around are using them and showed me how they operate last season. I don't know the range but they are tracked by satellites and should be almost anywhere.I use a quick track system. You run porkers or deer?

It seems like a great product that will cut down the time on hunting your dogs and give you more time to hunt game.
