She's shaking her head a bunch and has a fluid build-up in her ear.
Any homeopathic remedies I can use to ease the symptoms until I can get her into the vet?
Money is awful tight right now and if at all possible, I'd like to wait about a week-10 days to take her in.
Probably has an ear yeast infection. My lab used to get them all the time. He would scratch the outside of his ears with his paws till they bled. Get in there with a box of q-tips and dig the crud out. She won't like it, and you won't either cause it smells bad. Clean all the goop out you can, then get one of those ear wash bulbs and flush it out. I guess you could do the hydrogen peroxide flush like people do. When you can get to a vet, get a tube of Otomax. It will take care of the problem
I have ear problems with my pointer all the time. Otomax, or otibiotic will clear it right up. Try calling your vet, and see if they will sell you some with out a visit. I clean her ears well with q-tips than dip q-tips in perioxide to clean ear canal. Than I would wipe down the outer ear with a cotton ball with alcohol. Do this daily. I can tell you this if your dog keeps shaking its ears it could break a blood vessel, and develop a contusion, or blood blister. You do not want this. My dog got 1, and it cost $600 for surgery. I get my otomax on there yearly visit for shots, and keep it on hand.
