great eats and great grouper candy!
ive been on the flying fish, not impressed at all, they drift fish over springs, and once you start catching fish, you stop catching fish. i was just glad i didnt pay for the trip. miss cortez out of bradenton is no longer there, seasonally now, or they did last i checked had a viking boat that went out, not sure what that runs, but i heard it was better than the flying fish fleet. when we went there were maybe 5 keeper grouper caught and the rest were grunt, and i caught an octopus that they made me throw back.
Where does the Viking run out of? I have heard of them and their long trips but did not know they had shorter trips.
im pretty sure its a viking, it does whale sighting tours in the northern atlantic during that season, then it comes down here for fishing. ill have to check it out to be sure, but last i saw it was docked where the miss cortez fleet use to be, by annies bait and tackle right before you go over the bridge to get to AMI. i charted the stray dog out of cortez. that is a great boat to go on. he puts you on fish and keeps you on fish all day.
