I've never been deep sea fishing, but my girlfriend and I have been looking to go out...I was wondering if anyone knows any good charters located in the tampa area or nearby? Any help would be appreciated.
Are you looking for a charter boat or a party boat? Most charter captains will put you on the fish but they are pricy, party boats on the other hand you got to be careful of which ones you choose call and make sure how far they go out cause some only go out a few miles and your stuck catching grunts and sea bass all day and no grouper. I would look at the party boats out of John's pass called the friendly fisherman and book a full day trip, they catch more grouper ,ajs and snapper on the full day. Half day = grunt trip.
yea I got some pamplets on different charters, hmm I guess party boats I dont wanna pay too much. Were looking for something that also has all the gear for us, I got salt poles but I really dont have what Id need and im not too sure about how to rig up and stuff for deep sea. I think one of pamplets might of been of a party boat out of johns pass and I think they go any from 15 to 25 miles out but I think thats on a full day. Thnx tho..that info helped. Ill keep looking around, itll probably be a little while before we go.
