Any reports?

About 2 weeks ago I spoke with a guy in SweetBay Supermarket who had been out 40 miles from Longboat Key that day and he had a 20 pound red grouper he was trying to sell to the butcher (they were friends). He said they also caught 5 red snapper that were all 28" to 30". He didn't mention what spots they fished, just in about 80' and it was rough - took them 3.5 hours to go 40 miles out, 4 hours coming back.

70 ft in the stpete area will get you some gags up north of tarpon springs the depth to start at is 40ft good luck and if you need more specifics pm me!
