archery and mzl were pending, thought I was gonna get em but was denied, so all I got was first hog quota at homosassa. just as well I didn't get archery, I could pull the string with the adrenalin flowing but unable to practice daily as one really should.

You should look at getting the disability permit and get an x-bow. Thats what it is available for

I went to the county clerks office and tried to do that but you gotta practically be in a wheelchair and go thru a ton of paperwork and be officialy declared disabled by feds and state according to the clerk.it may happen eventualy but am currently still battling with lawyer and insurance co over my supplemental uninsured motorist policy, coverage to 100,000$. they offered 7,000$ surgery is 65,000$, and on it goes. so I do what I can.

I'm interested in learning to bow hunt. Looked at a package setup at Gander Mountain today. BowTech Outlaw package includes rest, quiver, stabilizer, sling, d-loop and peep sight for $499 plus tax. Includes 30 hrs on their bow range too.

Is that a good deal and a good bow?

Nacho, I think you misunderstood. There is a disabled archery permit that allows you to use an xbow during archery season. Thats what me as well as Hb are referring to
It is merely a matter of your Dr signing off on it, and mailing it into the state. It may be too deep into the calendar for this season, but it should help you for next year
