Let me just say I know everyone has their own opinions about arrows and especially broadheads however, I just got back into bowhunting from a 3 year break and need some advise. My first bow I bought 10 years ago was just replaced by my recent purchase of a Bowtech Assassin, the thing is sweet. Shoot a 29" draw at 70#.
My front runners right now are the Easton ST Axis 400 arrows with a G5 Montec CS broadhead. Do any of you have opinions on these or others that you like very much?
I'm very reluctant to go to a mechanical such as a Rage because I have had issues with mechanicals before but I know technology has come a long way since I used them 4-5 years ago.
Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
Forgot to mention that the Slick Tricks are a very very high on my list as well. G5 and Slicks are neck and neck.
All of the above are great choices.
A well tuned bow and shot placement are more important than brand of BH and arrow though
I shoot Beman Bowhunters and NAP 2-blade Bloodrunners

I've been killing deer & hogs with Slick Tricks for 5 or 6 years now.. I've been very impressed ,, started with the 100gr magnums and now use the 100 & 125 gr RAZOR TRICKS and really like them
I'm not a mechanical BH fan either but I am going to be testing the G5 T3's this year

agreed.. although some arrows are less consitant with straightness and spine than others.. Victory is getting a bad reputation for inconsistant spine
I've been shooting soke of the new Harvest Time shafts and so far so good.. I don't think there is a better arrow shaft than the Easton ACC's but, they are just too heavy for my taste
