Anybody have any luck during bow season in Green Swap?
I went out Saturday morning. Didn't see anything.
I was there a few weeks ago and had two does walk right in front of my tree. The first one came in and she was about 10 yards away. I was about to stand up to draw when I saw another one behind her. She had her head up so I couldn't stand up. When she put her head down, doe 1 was looking back my way. They played this game and I thought I would get busted if I stood up.
They eventually got behind some trees, but by then they were about 30 yards away and I only had a shot between two trees that were 6 inches apart. Between my nerves and the little window, I decided to let them walk hoping I would see them again. Never did.
I plan on Hunting Green Swamp Archery next year. Im gonna put a stand out there for the season.
Whats the longest yardage you guys would take a shot ?
