Sorry bro, the only local guy I know about is the one Eric at log cabin uses and hes in Tampa somewhere near you and I really never used any of his personally so I cant say good or bad. I think I may have met the guy your talking about once or twice but thats all. you could call George over at Brittons Archery in palm harbor but last time a friend asked about it he had nothing nice to say about any string makers. If all else fails " Winners choice" has never done me wrong and they do custom color combos too
A friend of mine gave the contact I was looking for. He makes his strings out of 452 material. Winners choice are made from the 8125 material and the 2 are VERY close in composition and performance.
This guy makes them in colors of your choice and is about half the price of a WC string

the only real advantage to a WC string is that there prestretched, Just install on bow tie in peep walkback tune and your ready to go 😀 no need to retune after a few hundred shots, no peep twist or creep. to me its worth the few extra bucks for less hassle. but either way, give us a report a good quality local guys is a handy thing to have 😀
