This happened to me. I had a great shot on a hog and the arrow broke in half. I couldn't figure out what happened at first but the next day I found the front half of the arrow. It slapped the hog on it's side. Carbon arrows shooting at targets, you end up hitting them on each other practicing. You have to be careful even a little nick will make them break.

Something that alot of people dont realize is that alot of shooting over time they can develope tiny stress fractures on the inside of the shaft where you cant see them. its always a good Idea to get new arrows once a year no matter how good your current ones look
