No not a dry fire, just wear and tear of use. I did not even notice it. I told the tech I was having trouble holding zero. Immediately, he pointed to a small crack on the left limb. Picture a fiberglass rod, how it splinters if it gets stressed. That's basically what mine was doing. If you ran your finger backwards against it, it would stick you..
Anyway, I got a whole entirely new limb/cam/string assembly. Basically the whole top of the bow is brand new. Also got a new trigger and safety. Total cost, $50
I shot it one time when I got home and almost missed the target at 10 yards. Gonna go shoot it some later this afternoon
