I finally got around to dragging the bows out and flingin some arrows. I had this bright idea in my head that I wanted to upgrade my crossbow this year. Went to Wal Mart, D!ck's, and The Archery Shop. Decided to pass on the idea after I saw prices and keep what I got. I still do need to take it out to Barnett and get a new string put on it as its the original. I needed a new target anyway. I had a coupon for d!ck's, so i got a Rinehart 18 in 1 target. Expensive, but that thing is nice.
20 yard sights were still where I left them last year on the PSE and on the Barnett. Just like riding a bicycle!!! I will shoot a few arrows thru each every afternoon now till bow season gets here :archer
I need to drag mine out as well and get practicing. I noticed the last time I pulled mine out that the peep sight was twisted a little. I seen a video today that mentioned sometimes just turning the attachment loop a little can help offset this issue. Any experience or advice with this?
No idea. I know mine sits crooked at rest sometimes. But it is always lined up when I draw it back. May be your string. I have the G5 meta peep
Mine is twisting at full draw, its causing the sight picture to become slightly oval making me shoot to the left some.
The only way to prevent your peep from twisting completly is a tube site. your strings will continue to twist as they get older, u can rotate your nock loop on the string to correct the problem, but it will continue to be an issue.i had one on my old bow... Someone stole that bow out of my front yard two weeks ago, and i just a got a new Pantera mag, i intend to put a tube site on it too. Just dont want to have to question my sites in the moment of truth
