Too hot of a weekend is an understatement :). I was at my stand yesterday at 2:49 pm and it was 92 and according to WeatherBug it felt like 97. At 5:00 pm it was 97 and felt like 103. Didn't see a thing. This morning only had a Turkey around my feeder and it was freaking hot by 9:00 am. The plan was to stay until Wednesday but decided to quit and end the torture. Back home sipping cold ones.

Not sure if I am going back this weekend or not. Sunday is my big 4-0, and I am not sure if I am supposed to be here or not yet! Wife has asked me 50 times if I am going to the woods or not. Lmao
I am 2 weeks out from mine as well, whats the big deal about turning 40 that it needs to be some huge party or something. I cut it off at the pass and just told the wife lets go out to a nice meal...
Trust me I think birthdays are overrated. Especially after you turn 21. I think adults who emphasize their bday is kinda weird. I see folks who celebrate their bday for a whole week or even month. I'd settle for a beer and a b* and call it a day. No big deal to me
