To stiff is no good causes just as many problems as not stiff enough. You have to use the right set up 29 inch draw and 70 lb
with regard to fixed vs mech broadheads. if using a fixed blade I'd keep the arrow shaft a tad longer to keep the blade a little further away from fingers. in the heat of the moment while busy watching the animal and sights it's easy to forget about fingers near the broadhead, saw a buddy of mine do it. he overdrew and sliced his index finger real nice, not to mention risks of nicking cables or bow string or yourself if overdrawn or arrow falls off rest. for hogs I'd imagine a fixed blade would be better, mech heads not a real issue for deer if quality heads are used.
Over drawing isn't a problem with the Assassin. It has a draw stop that rests on the limb of the bow at full draw which stops your draw like a wall.
guess they have come up with a few new things in the last 10-15 yrs.

Sorry Ted BUT,,, YOu can tune a stiff shaft a hell of a lot easier than you can a weak one.. Simply by using a heavier head.. or a longer shaft.. you can't do that with a weak spine and a weak spine will take longer for the oscillation to flatten out and will be more inclined to break on the shot due to excessive flexing .. not something i want to ever experiance
