Dont fix what not broken Pass thru is great. lets face it confidence is a big part of success.
Thanks for all the input on this subject. This is a great topic of discussion between bowhunters which no one has the perfect answer. I agree with practice and confidence you could sling a flint broadhead with wood arrow and it wouldn't matter... to some extent.
I think I'm going with the Slick Trick broadheads on either an Easton ST Axis Nano Carbon 400 or the Carbon Express Mayhem Hunter 350. Is there much of a difference in 400 vs. 350 with my set up (29" 70#)?
I hunt hogs and deer so I'm thinking the fixed broadhead is the way to go. I might pick up a set of Grim Reapers as well but I feel liked fixed BH will do better against the tough hide of hogs.

YES.. there is a big difference.. 400 would be underspined which can cause all kinds of flight problems
remember.. you can do more with a stiff shaft than you can with a limp one :archer

OK got to say it. That's what she said. LOL
You set that up well. It took only 3 minutes for someone to make a joke out of that haha.
I take it I should go 350.
I hear people talking about what length to cut your arrow as well. Is there a general rule of thumb on arrow length when compared to draw length, pound draw, arrow weight, weight of the tip, etc...? I'm thinking just draw back an uncut arrow and mark it off say an 1" ahead of my rest and cut it off there. Is that too much to cut?
