just got back from my buddy's shooting range 500 yd benchrest, he's gotten so good 1.5-2 inch groups he's gonna extend it to 1,000 yds. I have a hard time hitting a garbage can cover at 500. now he needs to come up with a new wilcat round for that distance, plans on 6.5 cal app 120 gr wt that will buck the wind, have good velocity and low recoil, good luck with that.

never mind above response another alzheimers moment lost track/forgot what thread I was on. what did I come in this room for? anyway, yes knight went out of bussiness, but they built some nice guns when they did. I've got the 50 cal disc with 209 primer and it is sealed water tight. excelent trigger, stock and bbl but long and heavy. newer trend seems to be shorter and lighter.
