I tried swithing from 2 pellets to 3 per advice from my friend... what a mistake! The grouping aren't near as tight as with 2 pellets so I switched back to two and shot it again Tuesday. Now it's an inch high at 80yds like it was before. I really don't even know if I will make the opener this year though.
got my 50 cal knight disc shooting great but when cleaning somehow managed to get the firing pin which threads into the bolt handle frozen in there and it won't budge. gotta get it freed and put back together correctly asap for sat am and don't want to bugger up the knurled knob. it's got a damm double safety ( I hate safety's, just something to get messed up ). only safety you need is between your ears.

I saw an in depth slow motion video one time of different bp loads. In just about all cases, when shooting 150 grains, the bullet would be 30+ yards down range and the powder was still burning. 150 grains is a waste. I tried it a couple times. It is a mess to clean up, more recoil and less accuracy
150 grains in my ML was just way too much, both for my shoulder and for good groups. 100 grains works fine, and since I have open sights I don't plan on shooting at anything over 100 yards anyway where I might need any extra powder.
