i know it is early but who all is going. and was wondering if anybody wants to make plans and split ice and camp . and possible a scout day of the island?

well went up to st vincients island this weekend with dreamnducks from another site to do some scouting for a december sambar hunt an all I can saw is wow. We took bikes to scout the island and after a short 10 mile ride :help we got to see the island in all it's glory. It was very interesting and different type of animal to hunt. I can not wait to get back there in december to get a sambar

That place is something else. I scouted the 1st time right after Thanksgiving and I was amazed at all the sign. I felt like I was landing on Jurassic Island. I've been wanting to do the Sambar hunt but the timing of the hunt just doesn't work for me. I spend the week of Thanksgiving at camp. We'll be there for the whitetail hunt in Jan. We're gonna stay in a cabin at Indian Pass this year. I just checked and there's 5 spots left for black powder and 145 left for archery if anyone wants in.
