Peace River

When a buddy and I camped there we caught lots of cats for dinner. Didnt try for anything else.

We used to run a trot line across the creek in several places and catch a mess too.
Raw chicken skin was our bait of choice followed by cubes of hotdog.
Delicious fish on the plate but pain in the a$$ to skin and clean while out there.

I also learned about "roadkill" baiting out there... "yuck".

Remember my Uncle running trotlines for cats.....square cubes cut off of an ivory soap bar....honest to goodness!
