Hi I'm moving to the Miami area for the summer to work specifically 137th in the calusa area. I've been dying to hook up on a peacock bass but have no idea where to fish them and how to fish for them if someone could point me in the right direction that be awesome. I have no idea what canals or ponds to fish I don't gave a boat down there so I'm stuck to the shore. Thanks for any advice possible

Just about any of the lakes and canals around there will hold peas. I like to use mirrolures and rattle traps but a live shiner always kills. Try the canal that runs along SW 136 st behind the falls all the way east and the one on SW 8 st. Good luck!

They literally all have bass. Live shiners work best!
