Boats been ready to go for DAYS now. Keep getting rained out. Very frustrating. I think the weekend is looking hopeful. Rain = dock land fishing. Caught a couple nice ones last night. Standard fair for bass catching for me... pumpkin senko with chartrusse tip From Wave Worms. I tried my hand tied jigs last night and they just were not doing the trick.

Hopefully this rain slows down soon. Its frustrating.

I finally found someone to go on Sunday afternoon. First time since I bought my new Gheenoe 3 months ago, and first time I have fished in almost a year. Went a couple hours and the storms blew all around us. It was about 97degrees and we caught zero fish

Trust me, it's not that I don't have the itch. I've been ready to go since January. I just can't ever find anyone to go. Every weekend it's the same story...... I asked someone on Friday to go on Sunday morning, and they said yes. I had the gheenoe-boat hooked up and I am still waiting on them to show up and/or return my text. My fishing since July of last year has consisted of about 20 minutes in my kayak Memorial day weekend, in gale force winds, which almost included me flipping over in it

I just paid $326 on insurance, + $89 on a new battery on my big boat which sits parked in the yard at camp. Also spent an entire day pressure washing it and lubing all the zerk fittings and hubs, so I just could back it back under the shed. I could have taken 3 offshore charters already for that 415 dollars.

I guess people are tired of me whining about it...

Went fishing out back in the lake with my son after work for about 30 minutes before it started raining again.
We caught 5 Mayan Cichlids on small floating Rapala. Saw couple of small bass but they had the locked jaw.
